Measure the roughness

Surfaces have a specific function in many technical applications. For example, piston rings for sealing require low friction, conversely body panels require a special profile with a defined minimum roughness for adhesive strength, and drive rollers in turn require sharp ends with a low contact surface. With ACCRETCH systems for measuring roughness and contours, you can identify defects in the target surface, or defects in relation to the ideal geometric design, with nanometre-precise certainty. This is true for manufacturing and in the measuring room.

Measuring contours

With the ACCRETECH measurement systems for contour measurement, the angle, radii, distances and coordinates can be measured on a workpiece; also in 2D or 3D if required. The results are then recorded and assessed using a computer-controlled target-actual value comparison.

Measuring roughness

To measure grooves, scores, ridges and other roughness characteristics, ACCRETECH offers mobile instruments and stationary measuring stations for use in the measuring room.For non-contact roughness measurement without buttons, you can equip the modular Surfcom Nex 001 system with an optical sensor.

Measuring contours and roughness

You can choose from various combined measurement systems for regular measurement of roughness and contours. The Surfcom Nex 100 takes the measurement at the same time with a measuring head. The Opt-Scope optical system is suitable for sensitive workpieces.
